Mr. Yang: From School-Run Workshop to Industry Leader
In 1985, amid China’s reform and opening-up, Mr. Yang left his hometown with a passion for technology and entrepreneurship. Settling in a small town in Jiangning District, Nanjing, he founded a school-run factory in a local elementary school, producing basic ammeters and voltmeters. Despite limited resources, Mr. Yang’s relentless focus on quality and market insight allowed the factory to expand into a full range of instruments, including power meters, frequency meters, and power factor meters. Each meticulously calibrated device reflected his commitment to precision, and every customer’s trust fueled his determination.

From Legacy to Innovation: The Era of Luis
In 2008, Mr. Yang’s son, Luis, took the helm and reorganized the business into LEEYD Co., Ltd., marking a new chapter of modernization and globalization. Luis recognized the critical role of technological innovation. While preserving the core expertise in instrument manufacturing, he upgraded production lines, integrated smart technologies, and diversified into emerging fields such as lightning arresters, surge monitor counters, DC shunts, and Hall-effect sensors. To meet growing demand, he established six specialized production bases across five Chinese cities, building an end-to-end industrial chain from R&D to delivery.
